We can turn anything into a ritual. Today is Passover and myself, and millions of other Jews across the world have a ritual they are celebrating this week and they are doing it through Zoom. Welcome to the future.
In my work with my clients in relationships, I tell them to create ritual in their interactions with one another. I tell them to take an imaginary cape, just like a super hero and when you want to step into relating with your partner, put that cape on.
Now before putting on that cape you set intentions as to what that cape represents, you get crystal clear as to what you are stepping into.
For instance, one cape could represent, calm, centered, grounded, loving, compassionate, caring, and present. You can have different capes for different interactions you want to have with your partner.
I especially love having one for sex and love making. You can create a ritual for it.
The ritual could be you set intentions, turn on candles, turn on music, whisper sweet words to each other and then starting slow, really really slow, you make sweet passionate love. 🔥🔥🔥
So here’s to creating rituals that bring joy, laughter, and love into your lives.
